A SomaVeda® Thai Yoga Therapy Valentine’s Weekend Ritual
Join us for a candlelit evening of presence, sacred touch, and embodied connection, guided by the principles of SomaVeda® Thai Yoga Therapy.
Held on the evocative energy of Friday the 13th, this Valentine’s weekend offering invites us to reframe the unfamiliar and the unexpected—choosing grounding, trust, and connection over superstition or fear. Together, we create a warm, intentional container where touch is approached as a language of listening, care, and respect.
The evening begins with gentle somatic preparation designed to help the body settle and arrive. Through slow, floor-based movement, breath awareness, and rhythmic pacing, we prepare the nervous system to receive and engage with greater ease and presence.
From there, participants are guided through partner-based SomaVeda Thai Yoga Therapy practices, exploring sacred touch through steady contact, mindful pressure, rhythmic movement, and periods of stillness. All techniques are offered with clarity, choice, and respect, allowing each pair to move at a pace that feels grounded and supportive. Touch is approached as a shared experience—one that invites awareness, trust, and embodied connection.
Pia will demonstrate select techniques with her husband, John, modeling consent, pacing, and presence, while offering clear verbal guidance throughout the experience.
The evening concludes with a moment of integration and reflection, followed by a ceremonial champagne toast and dark chocolate–covered strawberries, honoring sweetness, connection, and the beauty of gathering with intention. A sparkling non-alcoholic option will also be available.
